| The State government is implementing a number of schemes for providing potable water, both, in rural and urban areas. Limited availability of ground and surface water and geographical diversities make the availability of clean and safe drinking water difficult. To ensure sufficient water supply in urban areas, a number of water supply projects are underway, viz. Bisalpur Water Supply Project, Churu Bissau Project, Sarwar-Nasirabad Pipeline Project, etc. |
